When you say the word 'parrot', Amazon parrots are what everyone thinks of!The Amazon Parrots are the best known of all the New World parrots. There are 27 Amazon species. 12 of these species are considered endangered or threatened with extinction with eight of the most popular pet Amazons being among those that are endangered. Amazon parrots are very social birds and in nature they live in groups. They are highly intelligent, quickly tamed, and adapt easily to a cage or aviary.
